Cartoon For A Rainy Day

I grew up in a household with many cats and a barn full of chickens, pet rabbits, two cows and a horse. I was lucky to always have someone to love and I remember feeling deeply sorry for kids who were pet-less. So for all the Moms and Dads out there who are holding out, reconsider. It doesn't have to be a dog; even a lowly hermit crab can be a friend.

    That is a great one. My family has certainly eaten plenty of fish sticks, and had goldfish too - but our most successful pets continue to be gerbils. Really enjoy your comics, as always, Margaret!
